To foster community-led reforestation by planting native trees,
promoting environmental stewardship in Spokane and beyond.
We focus on planting native conifers that naturally thrive in Eastern WA's climate.
Our reforestation efforts are driven by local volunteers and community partnerships.
We strive to publicize environmental education throughout the Spokane community.
ConiFriends was founded in Spokane, WA by a group of local nature lovers who wanted to do more than just enjoy Eastern Washington's forests — they wanted to help restore them. Starting with a single planting event at Antoine Peak in October 2025, ConiFriends became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, partnering with organisations like the Washington Trails Association and Spokane Parks & Recreation to bring volunteers and native plants together.
Every event we run is community-led, beginner-friendly, and focused on planting native species that naturally thrive in our region. No experience is needed — just a willingness to get your hands dirty and contribute to something lasting.
