Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 20, 2026

ConiFriends is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Measures We Take

  • Providing text alternatives for non-text content such as images.
  • Ensuring sufficient colour contrast between foreground text and background colours.
  • Designing the site to be usable with keyboard navigation only.
  • Using semantic HTML elements and ARIA attributes where appropriate to support screen readers.
  • Providing descriptive link text so users understand the destination of links.
  • Ensuring form fields have associated, visible labels.
  • Making all interactive elements focusable and operable via keyboard.

Known Limitations

We are a small volunteer-run nonprofit and are working within limited resources. Some older content or third-party embedded features may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively working to resolve known issues and welcome reports of any barriers you encounter.

Assessment Approach

ConiFriends assesses the accessibility of this website through self-evaluation and by welcoming user feedback. We aim to conduct periodic reviews and remediate issues as they are identified.
