ConiFriends is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 39-3949449) incorporated in the State of Washington. Donations made to ConiFriends are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by U.S. federal law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations unless otherwise explicitly stated.
Funds received by ConiFriends are used to advance our conservation mission, including:
ConiFriends is committed to transparency. Financial records are available upon request in accordance with applicable nonprofit disclosure requirements.
Online donations are processed through third-party payment processors. ConiFriends does not store credit card or payment information on its own servers. All transactions are encrypted and handled in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
We are grateful for all contributions. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 30 days at conifriends@gmail.com. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 10 business days.
If you wish to designate your donation for a specific project or purpose, please contact us before making your gift so we can confirm that the restriction can be honoured. Unrestricted donations are allocated at the discretion of ConiFriends leadership to where they are needed most.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, ConiFriends files an annual Form 990 with the IRS. Copies are available upon written request or through GuideStar / Candid.
